Feeling Whole
I sit by the lake, where gentle waves lap in and out, melodious and serene. Bright coloured ducks shake their tail feathers after quick dunks for food. Small ducklings concentrate on keeping up with one another. Water lilies float by freely. A kingfisher suddenly dives down and is lost in the explosion of water it leaves behind. In seconds it rises - meal in beak - out of sight.
I sit in the forest, where strong breezes create rushing swirls of sound in the leaves and grasses. Birds soar and dip, their presence made known by so many individual voices. A woodpecker lands somewhere overhead, then begins to play percussion in its own symphony.
I now sit on the front porch with Mother Nature.
I sit and hear her voice with my ears and my heart.
I sit and see her creation with my eyes and my soul.
I sit and feel her Love with all of my being.
Now whenever and wherever I sit, in the city or the country, by myself or with others, I feel whole.

Beautiful! How Nature provides us peace, insights and room to feeling and being whole and free 🤍
